Guardian™ Сonnect is now compatible with even more android devices

We are excited to announce that Guardian™ Connect, the smart Real-Time CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) system, is now available for use with certain Android 7.0 (Nougat) and 8.x (Oreo) devices. 

The Guardian™ Connect  app, which was originally only compatible with iOS devices, is now compatible with the following Android devices:

• Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Android 7.0.x, Android 8.0)
• Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 7.0.x, Android 8.0)
• Samsung Galaxy S8+ (Android 7.0.x, Android 8.0)
• Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) (Android 7.0.x)
• Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) (Android 7.0.x, Android 8.0)
• Samsung Galaxy S9 (Android 7.0.x, Android 8.0)
• Samsung Galaxy S9+ (Android 7.0.x, Android 8.0)

Now Android users can have up to 60 minutes warning of a predicted high or low, enabling you to take action to avoid hypos, or over corrections. It can also warn you to administer a correction if your glucose levels are high. The tailored, predictive alerts can also be sent from your phone as well as up to 5 chosen carers or friends.
